Rudo Hughes - President
Ms Rudo is a 1st generation American daughter to parents from Zimbabwe, a caring sister, a loving wife to an East Aurora graduate, and the doting mother to a Harter 7th grader, son. She is the proud alumni of THE Ohio State University. She is an entrepreneur- 20 years as an event planner and a healer in her own home with dōTERRA essential oils. You can find Ms. Rudo daily as the receptionist at Kaneland Harter Middle School.
In her free time you will always find her spreading her love, laughing and helping somewhere 😘
Amber Sexton - Vice President
Amber has lived in Sugar Grove since 2008. She resides with her husband,James
and seventh grade son, Miles. Amber has a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma and works in marketing. She serves as a patient advocate and mentor at the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab. When she is not on the sidelines cheering for the Knights, she loves to travel, cook, listen to music, explore nature and spend time with her friends and pets.
Sara Reinert - Secretary
Sara has a background in customer service, sales and design. She lives in Sugar Grove with her family of 5 where they also own and run two local family businesses; Destiny Investment Properties and R&R Custom Renovations. Together they enjoy spending time with friends and family, watching movies, riding bikes, and attending the various sports and activities their kids are in. When Sara isn’t working or spending time with the family, you will likely find her with her power tools, tool bag, and a paint brush working on her various projects around the house.
Rebecca Kinsland - Secretary
Rebecca is a very thoughtful and detail orientated person. She is a mother of 2 amazing children and wife. She lives in Sugar Grove with her family of 4. She is not one to say much about herself but let it be known she has always been willing to give a helping hand whenever and where ever needed. From donating colored copy paper when 3rd graders were short or braving a middle school lunchtime cafeteria. She is definitely one to count on.
Amy Buckley - Treasurer
Amy is the Director of Total Rewards and HR Services for a technology company. Although she has been in Human Resources for fourteen years, she is a Registered CPA and worked in corporate accounting for six years prior to moving into Human Resources. She has a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A, both from Benedictine University.
Amy has been involved with PTO and her daughter’s schools, in various capacities, for nine years. This is her third year as Treasurer for the KHMS PTO board.
Amy lives in Sugar Grove with her husband Jason and daughters Mollie and Meghan. She loves Disney, music and animals. Most of her free time is spent taking care of her many pets or sports and activities with her daughters.
